Who Qualifies to be electroincally fingerprinted


Below is a list of those industries and persons who can utilize our electronic fingerprinting services. Anyone with an FBI Card may get electronically fingerprinted and get the results printed to an FBI card, but only certain industries may submit electronically. See the list below.

Electronic Fingerprinting OR Card Scanning and Electronic Submission

*     Vendors and Volunteers of Florida County School Boards

      *       Jessica Lunsford Act

*       Volunteers

*     Department of Children and Families Employees

*       Foster Parents

*       Day Care Workers

*    Department of Agriculture Licensees

*       All classes of Security Guard and Company License Applicants

*       Private investigator license applicants

*       Recovery Agents license applicants

*     National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD)

*       Stock Brokers

*       Anyone dealing with public equities

*       Any other industries or persons regulated by the NASD

*    Power Plant Employees

*      American Bankers Association (ABA)

*       All federally insured bank employees

*       Any other industry or person regulated by the ABA

*       VECHS program

*       Any company that provides care to the Elderly, Children, or Disabled

To be qualified to participate in the VECHS program, an entity must provide some type of "care" or "care placement services" for children, the elderly, or the disabled, even if only as a limited part of the entity’s overall business.  Once qualified to participate in the program, an entity may request criminal history information on all current and prospective employees and volunteers, not only those who work with vulnerable persons.  A qualified entity may also request criminal history information on employees or volunteers who have or who seek to have unsupervised access to the populations described above.
